There is this really nice park/wildlife area that I like to go to to walk, and there's a bench at the top of the hill, and the last few times I've gone there the same disgusting old bum is sitting there for hours, hogging the bench so no one else can use it (not that I want to sit on it after his disgusting self has been on it). And of course he stares at me the ENTIRE time I'm walking by. You'd think he'd have gotten a good enough look by now. And he has binoculars too, so he's probably looking at me through them when I'm too far away to know it. And, of course he sits there with his shirt off. Disgusting. God, I really want to smash his face in with a baseball bat. Summer is lovely in this town. This post sounds kinda cruel and inappropiate to me...I'm not really sure what to say.

The way you talk about people who are presumably homeless is not only elitist, it is incredibly disturbing.

So being homeless makes it ok for you to act like a jerk?
You know what is offensive and disturbing? 50+ year old men who think there is nothing wrong with blatantly staring at young women, never crossing their mind that it is rude and inappropriate.
You know what is offensive and disturbing? 50+ year old men who yell 'bisque' at young women for not responding to them.
I find it offensive and disturbing that you favor that kind of behavior. I have no problems with homeless people when they act like decent human beings.

Thank you guys for your concern about me. <3 It's just that if I call tomorrow I won't have to go back to that place, but to a health center where they are much nicer and not as stressed. I figure that if I just take it easy today it will be fine. I think all this may have to do with the infection I've had/have in my foot.

Don't disgusting bums have anywhere else to sit but public park benches? I mean, have the decency to shove off into a dumpster or a cardboard box or something, jeez.

I find it offensive and disturbing that you favor that kind of behavior. I have no problems with homeless people when they act like decent human beings. Oh poor you. The reason people are offended by your post isn't that you don't like being sexually harassed. You said that you wouldn't want to sit on a bench after a homeless person because their nasty, icky hobo-germs are all over it. You then said that you want to murder someone. If you want to talk about killing people, fine, but a vegan forum probably isn't the best place to do that.

Jigglypuff wrote: Oh poor hobos. You have problems and are probably mentally ill, so here, you can have all our park benches that our taxpayer dollars paid for. You can even sit on them all day and yell profanities at people walking by. Talk about stroganoff too, we enjoy hearing about it. We don't like parks anyway, we just built them for you! So enjoy them, because we sure won't.

If you wanted to sit where someone who never showers or washes their clothes has been sitting all day, every day, in the hot sun with no shirt on, I would question your hygiene. Did I say I was going to do it? You shouldn't take the internet so seriously.

yeah, how dare I feel entitled to enjoy the services of the town I live, go to school, shop and pay taxes in?
if you want to talk entitlement, then tell me, why is it that bums are entitled to use all of these public facilities in a town that they contribute NOTHING to?
